WHO IS PACK 345

Welcome to Cub Scout Pack 345! Pack 345 was formed in 2018 at the GLOBE Academy to serve youth from the Kindergarten to fifth grade. We are members of the Hightower Trail District which is part of the Atlanta Area Council. Our Chartering Organization is the The GLOBE Academy. We draw from the primarily from the GLOBE Academy, but we also have scouts from other Decatur, Tucker, and DeKalb County schools. Just into our third year, our Pack is one of the largest in Atlanta. Last year, more than 95 youth participated as scouts in our Pack!

Why Scouting

For more than 100 years, Scouting programs have instilled in youth the values found in the Scout Oath and Scout Law. Today, these values are just as relevant in helping youth grow to their full potential as they were in 1910. Scouting helps youth develop academic skills, self-confidence, ethics, leadership skills, and citizenship skills that influence their adult lives.

The Boy Scouts of America provides youth with programs and activities that allow them to

  • Try new things.
  • Provide service to others.
  • Build self-confidence.
  • Reinforce ethical standards.

DIVERSITY EQUITY & INCLUSION

The Boy Scouts of America promotes a culture where each youth, volunteer, and employee feels a sense of belonging and builds communities where every person feels respected and valued.

Leading by example and encouraging each other to live by the values expressed by the Scout Oath and Scout Law, we welcome families of all backgrounds to help prepare young people to serve as successful members and leaders of our nation’s increasingly diverse communities.
